A  Manifesto for Youth

A platform to bring age and youth together

The first sponsor:- The National Pensioners Convention

We are passing on to the young a terrible and frightening world. We will work with them to halt Global Heating, the Extinction of Species, the pollution of the Planet, the 4th Industrial Revolution destruction of jobs.

This manifesto is to open the door to a world of opportunity for the youth and to speed them on their way.

  1. Free bus and train passes for all up to the age of 26 for them the explore the country we are passing over to them.
  2. Free education up to degree level to build the best basis for their future.
  3. An immediate massive building policy to ensure everyone over 16 can afford to rent a home from which to build their lives, ensuring that housing is relevant to the youth with Cooperative ownership of housing providers.
  4. Adopt a Green Agenda focussed on jobs
    • to make the UK carbon neutral,
    • to live within the boundaries that the Earth can support and
    • to end the extinction of species, and
  5. Adopt the Alliance for Full Employment Youth Report: “A Million Reasons to Act. Nov.2020.” which has detailed proposals for job creation and workers cooperative ownership.
  6. Votes at 16.

We believe in the youth and suggest this manifesto as a much better focus for the £trillions of quantitative easing funds that are being printed for the bond market. This investment in our youth will be repaid many times over in their lifetimes.

This project is not political in the same way that food-banks, clean air and clean water is not political.
It is planned to launch on the 12th August 2021, the International day of Youth from the youngest city in Europe – Bradford.
